Ansata El Salaam x Deserai (Thee Desperado x Shailani)

Woodbank Arabians was established in 1990. Initially the aim was to breed black Arabians. However, I soon realized that colour had no significance without quality. With this in mind I gave up my quest to produce black and turned my focus towards type using straight Egyptian bloodlines. Thee Desperado became an integral part of my breeding programme through his sons Thee Outlaw, and the World and Triple Crown Champion BJ Thee Mustafa. Deserai, a SE Desperado daughter, was then imported from the USA. Her maternal grandfather World Champion Simeon Shai needs no further introduction. My horses and I are located in the South Shropshire hills and visitors are most welcome by appointment.
